Melody joins Climate CFOs as a Project Associate, bringing a fervor for blending project management, research, and community engagement to tackle climate change. As a recent graduate, she is eager to contribute to environmental sustainability, focusing on financial and project management for climate change programs and nonprofit initiatives.


Education

Melody holds an MS in Management and Systems from New York University, where she honed her project management and data analytic skills. Her master’s capstone project involved leading a four-month AI-assisted geospatial marketing campaign for a GIS education company, enhancing their presence in the field through comprehensive marketing research, content creation, and SEO optimization.


With a BS in Communication from UC San Diego, Melody developed strong skills in effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and public outreach. Her academic journey also includes research at Boston College on the financial saving behaviors of immigrants, providing valuable insights into the socioeconomic factors related to environmental issues.


Background

Born and raised in Taiwan, Melody has lived on both the East and West Coasts of the United States, enriching her perspective and adaptability. Her diverse background and hands-on experience equip her with the skills needed to address environmental challenges in a non-profit setting.


Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Korean, Melody effectively communicates with a wide range of stakeholders. Outside of work, she enjoys pilates, camping, and golfing, maintaining a balanced and active lifestyle. Her favorite environmental movie, "The Day After Tomorrow," reflects her passion for climate-related issues and the urgency of addressing them.
